Using VR, we guide audiences to explore the hidden battleground beneath the city’s dazzling prosperity. When demolished streets, cultures, and ways of life vanish faster than virtual realities, as urban expansion knows no bounds—who truly owns this place?  

Adapted from Italo Calvino’s renowned novel *Invisible Cities*, this experience reimagines a chess duel between Emperor Kublai Khan and the traveler Marco Polo. Crossing verbal swords while gesturing toward the void, they debate elusive cities—past and present, real and imagined. If all that remains of one’s domain is virtual, where does authentic life reside?  

Audiences will wear VR headsets and step into a realm between virtuality and reality, joining in the revelation of the world’s true face.
